Supporting Research Excellence
Texas A&M Engineering faculty members are answering some of
the most intriguing questions and difficult problems facing us today.
Their research projects range from the far-flung reaches of outer
space to the sub-cellular limits of inner space.
Some of our faculty engineers have developed new methods for reducing
the volume of hazardous nuclear waste. Some are tracking the orbits
of thousand of bits of “space junk,” objects that threaten
satellites now in orbit and others yet to come. Still others explore
the solutions to bridge scour and brain aneurysms. In each case,
these faculty members are sharing the excitement of discovery with
students.
Faculty members in the Look College conduct research through the
Texas Engineering Experiment Station
(TEES). In addition, the Texas
A&M Foundation accepts gifts for private and non-contractual
research conducted in the Look College.
