With 12 departments, the Look College is the largest engineering program in the United States and consistently ranks among the nation’s top programs.

We also consistently rank among the top universities in number of National Merit Scholars, nationally recognized faculty, funded research and extending this knowledge to the citizens of Texas.

Thirty-eight of our former students and faculty have been honored with membership in the elite National Academy of Engineering and over 400 of our current faculty have received numerous awards and recognition.
