Methods
of giving
There are
many traditional methods of giving.
In many cases, corporate matching funds may be used to help fulfill
a personal pledge.
When the
gifts are made payable to the Texas A&M Foundation, they are
considered charitable contributions for tax purposes and qualify
as income tax deductions to the extent allowable by law.
The
Texas A&M Foundation
The Texas
A&M Foundation was created in 1953 to solicit, receive,
invest and disburse private gifts for Texas A&M. The foundation
directs university-wide major gift fund-raising activities and
provides asset management services in order to uphold educational
excellence at Texas A&M. The foundation is a private, nonprofit
corporation that exists solely for the benefit of Texas A&M
University.
You can give
any size gift to any of our engineering departments or programs,
or the college itself, through the Texas A&M Foundation. If
your loyalties lie in a specific area, you can restrict your gift
by simply noting the preference on your check, pledge form or
cover letter. Whatever purpose you have in mind, you may want
to specify your gift as an endowment that benefits Texas A&M
Engineering in perpetuity.
