Lawrence A. DuBose
Class of 1942, Civil Engineering
Lawrence DuBose has endowed the Dr. Lawrence A. DuBose ’42 Scholarship Fund in Civil Engineering and the Dr. Lawrence A. DuBose Fund for Student Activities in support of the civil engineering program. Dr. DuBose taught at Texas A&M and the University of Alabama before a 40-year consulting career with Testing Service Corporation in Chicago.
George P. Mitchell
Class of 1940, Petroleum Engineering
George Mitchell has been inducted into Texas A&M University’s 2004 Corps Hall of Honor. Currently head of GPM, Inc., Mr. Mitchell founded Mitchell Energy & Development Corp. and became a leading real estate developer.
